A free emoji wallpaper maker that runs in your browser, asks for nothing, and hands back a PNG at your screen's exact pixel size.
No account
There is no sign-up, no email field, and no "continue with" button. The editor is the first thing on the homepage and it works before you have told it anything about yourself.
No upload
Your design is drawn by your own browser on a canvas element. It is never sent anywhere, because there is no server to send it to: the whole site is a folder of static files.
No watermark
The file you download is the design and nothing else. Every wallpaper made here is yours, including for commercial use, with nothing to attribute back to us.
What it does
You pick a handful of emoji, choose one of 11 repeating patterns, set a background colour, and the canvas redraws as you change things. When it looks right, you download it. That is the whole product.
The preview draws the lock-screen clock, the widget zone and the home indicator over your design, because the usual way a custom wallpaper fails is that the clock lands on the one emoji you cared about. Moving the pattern out from under it before you download is easier than discovering it afterwards.
Exports come out at real device resolution: 6 sizes, each the pixel count of the screen it is for, rather than one square upscaled to fit everything. An iPhone wallpaper and an Android one are not the same file with different corners cropped off.
How it works
Every image is rendered on your device. There is no account system, no server-side rendering, and no image storage, which means there is also nothing of yours for anyone to leak, sell or lose. Your most recent design is kept in your browser's own storage so the editor opens where you left it, and clearing your browser data removes it. A design is shareable as a link because the whole design is packed into the URL after the #. Browsers never send that part of a URL to a server, so even a link you paste to a friend is read only by the person who opens it.
Where the emoji come from
There are 5 emoji styles. One draws with the emoji font already installed on your device, which is why that setting looks native rather than pasted in. The others are open-licensed artwork, served from this domain rather than hot-linked from somebody else's CDN, because opening the picker should not turn you into a request to a third party. Who drew each set and what its licence asks for is on the emoji licences page, which is generated from the picker itself so the two cannot disagree.
What it will not become
No paid tier, no export limit, no "sign in to download", and no watermark that a subscription removes. Those are the four moves that turn a tool like this into an app you resent, and the site is built so that adding them would mean rebuilding it: there is no login to gate anything behind and no server to count your exports.
If analytics are ever added they will be a cookie-free page counter with no fingerprinting and nothing about the designs anyone makes, and the privacy page will say so on the day it happens.
